Getting your New Jersey Insurance Discount
Many insurance providers may offer a defensive driving discount to eligible New Jersey drivers. The terms and amount of savings may vary from provider to provider. Check with your insurance agent to see if you qualify for a defensive driver discount before registering for our course.
After passing the DriveSafe New Jersey Defensive Driving course, you will receive a completion certificate. You can email the certificate to your insurance agent as proof that you passed the course, or even have the certificate emailed directly to them. You can also print a hard copy of your completion certificate. If you’re eligible, your agent will use the certificate to confirm your eligibility for a discount.
Avoid Points Being Added to Your License
You may also be eligible to avoid points being added to your driving record simply by passing a DriveSafe Online course. Keep in mind that laws and regulations regarding the use of online defensive driving courses can vary from court to court. Before you take any online driving course, be sure to ask the court contact handling your traffic violation if the course meets their requirements for ticket dismissal, deferral, or diversion.
